Hi, I'm David, founder of MK Creative Base, a space I use to explore visual storytelling, video production, and digital design through both collaborative and personal projects.

As a versatile creative professional, I've always been looking towards new openings, projects, and learning opportunities.
Since I was young, I've always been attracted to creative projects, from arts and crafts to film and stop-motion, and even though I had never thought of it as a career path, I've been slowly drifting towards it, turning it from a simple hobby to a full, multidisciplinary career path.

With a deep foundation in design thinking and film production, and with a background in both academic and autodidactic learning, I specialise in transferring ideas from a simple thought to a fully developed and polished outcome. 

I've worked as a freelance artist since 2018, making both 2D art and short films with a small team of friends, and while my early work may not have been perfect, it became the start of my current evolution as a professional. 

I've been involved in the development of several small projects, taking on roles as a creative director, designer, and video creator, and throughout them (especially from the mistakes that were made at the time), I've learned a lot of things that have contributed to the slowly tailored work and procedures I follow today.

Now, after all my learning throughout the years and my formal training in Spain, Canada and Australia, I'm looking to grow within a more stable and professional space to be able to learn, experience, and get involved in new, more professional projects, with the ultimate goal of learning and improving as time goes by so I can develop further my skills and personal projects while helping others learn and develop their own unique creative thinking.
